He Mahmoud was appointed as Visiting Professor at the African Leadership Centre in 2015. He is a leading practitioner on the Centre's Practice of Leadership programme.

 

Prof  Professor Medhane Tadesse Gebresilassie

Professor Medhane Tadesse is a Visiting practitioner as part of the Practice of Leadership programme with the African Leadership Centre. He is an academic specialist on peace and security issues in Africa, who has researched extensively on civil wars, the governance of security, political Islam and interstate conflicts.

General Agwai  is a retired Nigerian Army general who served as Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, and Force Commander of the Hybrid United Nations - African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID). He is also a Visiting Professor at the African Leadership Centre , King's College London

 

Ms Hanna Serwaa Tetteh

Hanna Serwaa Tetteh (Ghana) is the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General to the African Union and Head of the United Nations Office to the African Union. Ms. Tetteh was the Director-General of the United Nations Office in Nairobi, and she served previously in the cabinet of the Government of Ghana as Minister for Foreign Affairs and a member of the National Security Council and the Armed Forces Council (2013-2017), as well as Minister for Trade and Industry (2009-2013).

Colonel Dr. Kizza Besigye, is a Ugandan physician, politician, and former military officer of the Uganda People's Defence Force.

 

Barney Afako

Mr. Barney Afako (Uganda) is a lawyer with experience in conflict mediation.  He has worked in the fields of human rights, refugee law, criminal justice and transitional justice issued in several countries.  He is a part-time Tribunal Judge in the United Kingdom.  Between 2006 and 2008, he was the Chief Legal Advisor to the South Sudanese mediation in the Juba Peace Talks between the Government of Uganda and the Lord's Resistance Army.  

 

Donald Omondi Deya

Mr. Deya is a seasoned Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with extensive expertise in law and regional integration. He previously served as the CEO of the East Africa Law Society (EALS), where he was instrumental in strengthening the organization's role as a champion for good governance, rule of law, and access to justice within the East African Community (EAC).
